Important: Mariner Title Co will never ask you to change wiring instructions solely by email. Always verify before sending funds.
Before Sending Any Wire
- Call Mariner Title Co at 772-283-2881 or another independently verified trusted number before wiring funds.
- Do not use a phone number that appears only in a new, unexpected, or urgent email.
- Confirm the bank name, account name, routing number, and account number before sending funds.
- Be suspicious of urgent requests, changed instructions, misspelled domains, unusual sender addresses, or last-minute pressure.
- Contact your bank and the proper authorities immediately if you suspect fraud.
Email Risk
Email can be intercepted, spoofed, or manipulated. Treat any change to wiring instructions as suspicious until verified by phone through a trusted number.
What Mariner Title Co Will Not Do
- We will not ask you to rely only on email for changed wiring instructions.
- We will not pressure you to bypass verification steps.
- We will not discourage you from calling to confirm details before wiring funds.
